Margeling Santiago focuses her practice on patent, copyright and trademark matters as well as various aspects of customs, maritime and international trade.
Margeling graduated with a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida with a concentration in Linguistics and minors in French, Russian and Entrepreneurship. Margeling also attended the Florida State University College of Law on academic scholarship where she graduated cum laude.
While at FSU, Margeling served as Treasurer of AIRR (Advocates for Immigrant and Refugee Rights) and participated in the Immigration and Farmworker Project as part of the Public Interest Law Clinic. The summer after her first year Margeling interned with the Tenth Judicial Circuit under the supervision of Judge Robert G. Fegers as well as studied abroad at the University of Oxford in England. Margeling gained invaluable experience interning as a policy analyst with the Florida House of Representatives as a part of the Legislative Intern Program.
Margeling is a certified skydiver and is fluent in Spanish and French. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Princess.
